Gestational Diabetes is caused when the body cannot produce enough insulin to balance the hormones that the placenta releases during pregnancy causing high blood glucose levels.
From our research consisting of immersing ourselves in information on GD and interviews with moms with GD and without, we found that these are the main concerns and pain points.
